Construction Safety Partnership Advisory Committee (CSPAC) is now accepting entries for the 2018 Construction Safety Representative Award

Please be advised that the Construction Safety Partnership Advisory Committee (CSPAC) is now accepting entries for the 2018 Construction Safety Representative Award.

The CSPAC recognise the importance of the role of the Construction Safety Representative and is proud to sponsor an award (€500 plus a Certificate of Recognition) for the Construction Safety Representative who has demonstrated an outstanding contribution to improving safety and health on a construction site in the past year.

Nominations for the award will be accepted from employers, colleagues or indeed self-nomination.

All applications must be submitted to the CSPAC, by email, to: [email protected] with the following subject line: ‘Construction Safety Representative Award 2018’ before 5pm on 20th November 2018.

Details of Award:

Consultation between Management and Employees is a vital component of an organisation’s management of health and safety. The CSPAC recognize the importance of the role of the Construction Safety Representative and is proud to sponsor an award (€500 plus a Certificate of Recognition) for the Construction Safety Representative who has demonstrated an outstanding contribution to improving safety and health on a construction site(s) in the past year.

Nominations:

Nominations for the award will be accepted from employers, colleagues or indeed self-nomination. The proposer should outline the reason for nomination – e.g. specific initiatives undertaken, raising safety awareness, interventions, encouraging involvement of workers etc.

Entry Criteria:

The nominated individual must be an acting Safety Representative or have acted in such a role in the last 12 months.

Construction Safety Representative Award Review Committee:

The Construction Safety Representative Award Review Committee consists of a diverse group of industry professionals from different stakeholders within the construction industry. The Committee will evaluate and review applications and rank the applications. Recommendations for awards will be forwarded to the CSPAC.
