The NISO / CSPAC Small Contractor / Sub Contractor Innovation Award is awarded to a small contractor who has introduced an innovation or change to the way that they operate that has made improvements to health and safety within the last three years.

Towercom won the award with the launch of their V-site tool, an interactive site selection, design and works planning tool. The tool enables the company to perform in depth desktop analysis of elevations minimising the need to physically attend surveys.

Reduced risks include a reduction in:

• Climbing masts
• Driving long distances
• Working in poor weather conditions
• Working in close proximity to EMFs

The organisation demonstrated their commitment to continually improve safety performance and were deserved winners of the NISO/ CSPAC Small Contractor / Sub Contractor Innovation Award for 2014.
